My name is Carmen Zagazeta. I'm a graphic designer, photographer and technology enthusiast. I live in Sacramento, CA with my husband, two kids and cat. I studied advertising at PUCP, in Perú, which is where I'm from. I have a master of Fine Arts in Graphic Design from the Academy of Art University in San Francisco.

For me, design comes from a great tension of opposites; the greater the contrast, the greater the potential. A well executed juxtaposition of disparate elements creates a rare complexity and whimsical beauty that has the power to elevate design to more than the mere sum of its parts.
